The 2000 WRM will be the first joint meeting of the Pacific Section American Association of Petroleum Geologists (PSAAPG) and the SPE. The SPE General Chair for the 2000 WRM is Glenn Swanson of Duke Engineering & Services. The PSAAPG General Chair is Don Clarke of the City of Long Beach, Department of Oil Properties (DOP). SUMMARY OF FIRST PLANNING MEETING: Glenn Swanson of Duke Engineering & Services led this 2000 WRM Kick-off meeting on June 22, 1999, 3 pm at Tidelands Oil Production Company in Long Beach, CA. Since WRM 2000 will be held in conjunction with the Pacific Section AAPG's annual meeting, Don Clarke represented the PSAAPG interests at the meeting.
