Abstract:
Technology continually drives forward, enabling operators to produce assets more efficiently and strategically. From drilling to re-stimulating, expandable technology is proving to be an economical, value-based solution in a broad range of applications. Incorporating expandable technology into primary well design has reduced overall well costs by up to 30% in some fields. In addition to addressing drilling mitigation issues and remediation and rejuvenation of older wells, applications such high temperature/steamflood environments, frac and refrac liners are helping operators dramatically increase production in new and existing wellbores. With more than 1,100 installations in the past ten years, solid expandable technology advancements have achieved industry-wide recognition through execution excellence and high reliability as successful commercial and technical solutions for drilling and production enhancement.
