View from the chair. . . Dear LA Basin SPE Members, It gives me great pleasure to inform you that 13 members from the Los Angeles Basin Section were admitted to the SPE Legion of Honor during 2005. Only those members with 50 years of continuous and active membership in SPE are admitted to the SPE Legion of Honor. The following members from our Section received this distinction during 2005: Mr. Charles Babcock Mr. W.J. Baker Mr. Clyde Barton Mr. B.P. Bayliss Mr. Martin Garrity Mr. J.F.
